Rhythm & Ballroom — Competitive Alumni
"After 15 years away from the floor, Big Apple Ballroom brought me back. It felt like coming home."
Ozlem's story starts more than 15 years ago when she competed in Open Ballroom as an Amateur and Pro/Am competitor. After taking time off for her kids and the many curveballs life threw her way, she's back on the floor with us dancing Rhythm and Ballroom. The environment here is protective, encouraging, and completely free of ego.
Private Lessons — Social Dance

Gary started dancing relatively recently. Like many of our students, Gary didn't have a dance background. He was busy with business, but as you'll hear from him, the private lessons became an unexpected anchor in his week — combining a physical outlet with a mental reset he didn't know he needed.

Sandra has experienced dancing from every angle: as a beginner student, as an accomplished social dancer, and eventually as an experienced teacher. Her arc — from walking in without experience to leading a class of her own — is the most complete transformation story in our studio's history.
