Rounds at Big Apple

Sweat it out. A few couples take the floor at once and dance the same dance together, the way heats run at a competition — about a minute to a minute and a half, then the next group goes on, then you go again. Anya Katsevman is on the floor as a guide, not a judge: no scores, just something you can use in your next lesson. Watching is free and everyone is welcome — twenty minutes at the side of the floor will show you more than any description. Want to dance it? Rounds are booked per dance through your teacher, one dance is a perfectly good night, and you can dance with your teacher or another student.
