Performance & Presence
Tamsyn Rockwell is an internationally accomplished dancer, choreographer, producer, and adjudicator, with a career that spans competitive ballroom, stage performance, and global production. Originally from South Africa, Tamsyn built a formidable reputation on the international ballroom and Latin competition circuit, earning multiple major titles including South African Latin Champion, Bournemouth Masters Latin Champion, and three-time Triple Crown American Smooth Champion. Driven by a commitment to excellence, she relocated to London to train with some of the world's most respected dance coaches, further refining her craft at the highest level.
Transitioning seamlessly from competitive success to the stage, Tamsyn has performed as a featured dancer in high-profile casino productions, corporate events, and international cruise line shows. Her dynamic presence and versatility as a performer naturally evolved into choreography and production, where she has created a wide range of dance and variety shows presented across South Africa, the Middle East, and the United States.
As the founder of a highly regarded dance company in South Africa, Tamsyn became known for delivering polished, creative, and professional productions across both theatrical and corporate environments. Her work consistently blends technical excellence with strong visual storytelling — an approach that continues to define her creative signature.
Today, Tamsyn is a respected adjudicator on the international ballroom and Latin competition circuit, bringing a wealth of experience, insight, and integrity to the judging panel. Her career reflects not only a deep understanding of the art of dance, but also a lifelong commitment to its evolution, performance, and excellence.
