The Holidays are here

This is our first holiday season in the studio and we’ve been enjoying it in typical Big Apple Ballroom style. We had our year end awards for 2021 and little get together with a few our close knit crew last Wednesday. In no particular order -

Sheryl McCabe - the High Flyer - for lifts performed at the greatest altitude

Cary Mabley - Showstopper - for most outstanding live performance of 2021

Gretchen Fenston - Most flagrant use of a green bathing suit

Heidi Rosenfarb - Best Dancing Zombie of 2021

Mercedes Ellington - Fanciest Toe - She’s been out for most of the year but still managed to put a performance together before surgery to replace a toe join…again.

Jerry Magiera - Most Lickable Face - our pup Leia loves him best, of course

Ozlem Koldemir - Most Caffeinated Mambo of 2021

Everyone has done so much through the year with dancing, improving, performing, and achieving new heights, but we thought we’d have a little fun with the awards rather than being too serious about them.
