Constitution 2021 - Back to normal

Although we’ve had a few competitions since the extreme COVID restrictions of last year eased, Constitution was the first time I felt we achieved some sense of the before-times. We still masked up off the dance floor but being at the Stamford Marriott made me hopeful of even better times to come. Our students Gary and Cary have been making big strides in the studio, and it was gratifying to feel the energy of making a finished product with them on the competition floor. As much as we’re glad to have a home to dance in the city nothing beats the competition floor. 

Gary danced almost non-stop through the Bronze of Smooth and Latin, and he looked stronger at the end of each day than the beginning. Cary moved with a sense of control and command from the on-deck area through the rounds of both Rhythm and Smooth. 

Evgeny and Inna always make a super welcoming environment and pay great attention to the details of customer service from how they take entries in to even having tissues at every table.
